We know our margins now

Tracked time pulls straight onto the invoice so nothing goes unbilled. Costs come from real supplier bills, not numbers typed into a spreadsheet.

Pros

Tracked time pulls straight onto the invoice so nothing goes unbilled.

Cons

It is job costing, not project management, there are no Gantt charts.

Stopped us losing billable time

No resource planning if you need to schedule the work as well. Reporting is limited to what Xero gives you. Looking at alternatives.

Pros

Time entry is simple enough that the team actually does it.

Cons

No resource planning if you need to schedule the work as well.
