Fine until you need complexity

Payslips self serve so nobody emails me asking for one. Only real gripe is that not enough depth if you run multiple pay frequencies.

Pros

Payslips self serve so nobody emails me asking for one.

Cons

Not enough depth if you run multiple pay frequencies.

Anomaly checking earns its keep

Copilot caught a net pay that had moved 40 percent before I committed. Only real gripe is that CIS subcontractors are not handled here, which confused us at first.

Auto enrolment finally stopped worrying me

Auto enrolment assessment happens without me remembering to do it. A pay run for twelve people takes about ten minutes.

Pros

Auto enrolment finally stopped worrying me

Mixed. Payslips self serve so nobody emails me asking for one, but corrections to a previous period are more awkward than they should be.

Pay run takes ten minutes now

Payslips self serve so nobody emails me asking for one, and auto enrolment assessment happens without me remembering to do it. Reporting is basic if your accountant wants detail, but we live with it.

Pros

Payslips self serve so nobody emails me asking for one.

Cons

Reporting is basic if your accountant wants detail.

Good for a small team

HMRC notices come straight into the pay run. That said, CIS subcontractors are not handled here, which confused us at first and corrections to a previous period are more awkward than they should be.

Pros

HMRC notices come straight into the pay run.

Cons

CIS subcontractors are not handled here, which confused us at first.

Simple payroll, does the job

Mixed. Payslips self serve so nobody emails me asking for one, but the five employee inclusion means the real cost is higher than the headline.

Pros
