Pay run takes ten minutes now
Copilot caught a net pay that had moved 40 percent before I committed, and no payroll training and I have never missed an RTI deadline. No complaints so far.
Pros
Copilot caught a net pay that had moved 40 percent before I committed.
Cons
The five employee inclusion means the real cost is higher than the headline.

Anomaly checking earns its keep
A pay run for twelve people takes about ten minutes, and auto enrolment assessment happens without me remembering to do it. CIS subcontractors are not handled here, which confused us at first, but we live with it.

Auto enrolment finally stopped worrying me
Corrections to a previous period are more awkward than they should be, and CIS subcontractors are not handled here, which confused us at first. Auto enrolment assessment happens without me remembering to do it, which is about the only positive.

Auto enrolment assessment happens without me remembering to do it.
Cons

HMRC notices come straight into the pay run, and payslips self serve so nobody emails me asking for one. CIS subcontractors are not handled here, which confused us at first, but we live with it.

Simple payroll, does the job
Reporting is basic if your accountant wants detail, and the five employee inclusion means the real cost is higher than the headline. Copilot caught a net pay that had moved 40 percent before I committed, which is about the only positive.
