Auto enrolment finally stopped worrying me

No payroll training and I have never missed an RTI deadline. That said, CIS subcontractors are not handled here, which confused us at first and the five employee inclusion means the real cost is higher than the headline.

Pros

No payroll training and I have never missed an RTI deadline.

Cons

CIS subcontractors are not handled here, which confused us at first.

Simple payroll, does the job

Copilot caught a net pay that had moved 40 percent before I committed, and a pay run for twelve people takes about ten minutes. Not enough depth if you run multiple pay frequencies, but we live with it.

Pros

Copilot caught a net pay that had moved 40 percent before I committed.

Cons

Not enough depth if you run multiple pay frequencies.

Pay run takes ten minutes now

Payslips self serve so nobody emails me asking for one, and HMRC notices come straight into the pay run. The five employee inclusion means the real cost is higher than the headline, but we live with it.

Pros
