Fine for a simple payroll

Auto enrolment assessment happens each period without me chasing it, and one supplier for accounts and payroll keeps the audit trail simple. No complaints so far.

Pros

Auto enrolment assessment happens each period without me chasing it.

Cons

Corrections to a past period are more awkward than they should be.

Handy if you already use QuickBooks

Payslips self serve so the team stopped emailing me for copies. Only real gripe is that it is a paid add on, so compare the real total against Xero and Sage.

Pros

Cons

It is a paid add on, so compare the real total against Xero and Sage.

Does the basics well

Auto enrolment assessment happens each period without me chasing it, and payslips self serve so the team stopped emailing me for copies. It is a paid add on, so compare the real total against Xero and Sage, but we live with it.

Pros

Auto enrolment assessment happens each period without me chasing it.

Cons

It is a paid add on, so compare the real total against Xero and Sage.

Add the cost before you compare

Depth runs out fast if your payroll is anything but straightforward, and corrections to a past period are more awkward than they should be. Payslips self serve so the team stopped emailing me for copies, which is about the only positive.

Pros

Payslips self serve so the team stopped emailing me for copies.

Cons

Depth runs out fast if your payroll is anything but straightforward.
