The free tier is genuinely great

The free tier got our whole sales team off spreadsheets at no cost. Only real gripe is that marketing contacts pricing climbs as your database grows.

Pros

The free tier got our whole sales team off spreadsheets at no cost.

Marketing contacts pricing climbs as your database grows.

Watch the jump to paid

Email tracking and sequences saved our reps real time, and HubSpot Academy meant we onboarded ourselves for free. It is more platform than a small sales team needs, but we live with it.

Pros

Email tracking and sequences saved our reps real time.

Cons

It is more platform than a small sales team needs.

One platform for sales and marketing

HubSpot Academy meant we onboarded ourselves for free, and the team adopted it without any training, which never happens. Marketing contacts pricing climbs as your database grows, but we live with it.

Pros

HubSpot Academy meant we onboarded ourselves for free.

Cons

Marketing contacts pricing climbs as your database grows.

Adopted with zero training

HubSpot Academy meant we onboarded ourselves for free. That said, the cost crept up exactly as we became dependent on it and the jump from free to paid is steep once you need automation.

Pros

HubSpot Academy meant we onboarded ourselves for free.

Cons

The cost crept up exactly as we became dependent on it.

Powerful once you commit

Having marketing and sales on one contact record ended two integrations. The app marketplace connected to everything we already run.

Having marketing and sales on one contact record ended two integrations.

Cons

It is more platform than a small sales team needs.
