Ideal for billing by time

It is genuinely easy for someone who is not an accountant, and seeing when a client has opened an invoice is quietly useful. No real inventory, so it does not suit a product business, but we live with it.

Pros

It is genuinely easy for someone who is not an accountant.

Cons

No real inventory, so it does not suit a product business.

Easy, if light on bookkeeping

Mixed. Tracking billable time against a project and invoicing it is seamless, but the lower tiers cap billable clients and we hit that ceiling.

Ideal for billing by time

The invoicing gets us paid noticeably faster than our old system, and automated payment reminders mean I stopped chasing clients myself. The American roots show in a few of the defaults, but we live with it.

Great for a service business

No real inventory, so it does not suit a product business, and the lower tiers cap billable clients and we hit that ceiling. Automated payment reminders mean I stopped chasing clients myself, which is about the only positive.

Perfect for a freelancer

It is lighter on proper bookkeeping than Xero or QuickBooks, and the American roots show in a few of the defaults. Automated payment reminders mean I stopped chasing clients myself, which is about the only positive.

Gets us paid faster

Tracking billable time against a project and invoicing it is seamless. Only real gripe is that no real inventory, so it does not suit a product business.
