We finally know which jobs make money rather than guessing. Time entry is simple enough that the team actually does it.

Job costing done simply

Time entry is simple enough that the team actually does it. That said, reporting is limited to what Xero gives you and you need the Ultimate plan, which is a jump from Grow.

Worth the Ultimate upgrade for us

It closed the gap on unbilled hours within the first quarter, and tracked time pulls straight onto the invoice so nothing goes unbilled. No complaints so far.

We finally know which jobs make money rather than guessing. Only real gripe is that it is job costing, not project management, there are no Gantt charts.

Stopped us losing billable time

No resource planning if you need to schedule the work as well, and reporting is limited to what Xero gives you. Tracked time pulls straight onto the invoice so nothing goes unbilled, which is about the only positive.
