Great if your payroll is simple

CIS lives in the main Xero product rather than here. It is built for simple payrolls, multiple pay frequencies push its limits. Looking at alternatives.

Pros

The pension provider connection to NEST just worked.

Cons

CIS lives in the main Xero product rather than here.

Works because it is inside Xero

Employees update their own details and request holiday in the app. Only real gripe is that CIS lives in the main Xero product rather than here.

Pros

Employees update their own details and request holiday in the app.

Pros

The pay run posts straight to the ledger so there is no journal to key.

Cons

It is built for simple payrolls, multiple pay frequencies push its limits.

Great if your payroll is simple

The per person allowance is easy to misread when you are growing, and moving past your tier headcount costs more than expected. The pay run posts straight to the ledger so there is no journal to key, which is about the only positive.

Pros

The pay run posts straight to the ledger so there is no journal to key.

Cons

The per person allowance is easy to misread when you are growing.
