Good for a small team

A pay run for twelve people takes about ten minutes. That said, not enough depth if you run multiple pay frequencies and the five employee inclusion means the real cost is higher than the headline.

Pros

A pay run for twelve people takes about ten minutes.

Cons

Not enough depth if you run multiple pay frequencies.

Copilot caught a net pay that had moved 40 percent before I committed. Only real gripe is that the five employee inclusion means the real cost is higher than the headline.

Good for a small team

No payroll training and I have never missed an RTI deadline. That said, CIS subcontractors are not handled here, which confused us at first and the five employee inclusion means the real cost is higher than the headline.

Pros

No payroll training and I have never missed an RTI deadline.

Cons

CIS subcontractors are not handled here, which confused us at first.

Pay run takes ten minutes now

Auto enrolment assessment happens without me remembering to do it, and Copilot caught a net pay that had moved 40 percent before I committed. No complaints so far.

Pros

Fine until you need complexity

Mixed. Auto enrolment assessment happens without me remembering to do it, but reporting is basic if your accountant wants detail.

Pros

Simple payroll, does the job

Auto enrolment assessment happens without me remembering to do it. Payslips self serve so nobody emails me asking for one.

Pros

Auto enrolment assessment happens without me remembering to do it.

Cons

Corrections to a previous period are more awkward than they should be.
