Good for a small team

Copilot caught a net pay that had moved 40 percent before I committed. A pay run for twelve people takes about ten minutes.

Pros

Copilot caught a net pay that had moved 40 percent before I committed.

Cons

The five employee inclusion means the real cost is higher than the headline.

Anomaly checking earns its keep

HMRC notices come straight into the pay run. A pay run for twelve people takes about ten minutes.

Pros

HMRC notices come straight into the pay run.

Cons

CIS subcontractors are not handled here, which confused us at first.

Fine until you need complexity

Payslips self serve so nobody emails me asking for one, and Copilot caught a net pay that had moved 40 percent before I committed. No complaints so far.

Pros

Payslips self serve so nobody emails me asking for one.

Cons

Corrections to a previous period are more awkward than they should be.

Simple payroll, does the job

Corrections to a previous period are more awkward than they should be, and not enough depth if you run multiple pay frequencies. Payslips self serve so nobody emails me asking for one, which is about the only positive.

Pros

Payslips self serve so nobody emails me asking for one.

Cons

Corrections to a previous period are more awkward than they should be.

Fine until you need complexity

The five employee inclusion means the real cost is higher than the headline. Not enough depth if you run multiple pay frequencies. Looking at alternatives.

Pros

No payroll training and I have never missed an RTI deadline.

Cons

The five employee inclusion means the real cost is higher than the headline.
