Good software, partner dependent

Mixed. Dimensions replaced a four segment nominal code structure we hated, but you need a good partner and they are not all good.

Pros

Dimensions replaced a four segment nominal code structure we hated.

Cons

You need a good partner and they are not all good.

Dimensions were the whole reason we moved

Dimensions replaced a four segment nominal code structure we hated, and multi entity consolidation runs in minutes instead of three days. No complaints so far.

Pros

Dimensions replaced a four segment nominal code structure we hated.

Cons

There is no published price, which makes budgeting a negotiation.

Consolidation went from days to minutes

Intercompany transactions post correctly without manual journals, and the close has come down from twelve days to five. There is no published price, which makes budgeting a negotiation, but we live with it.

Pros

Intercompany transactions post correctly without manual journals.

Cons

There is no published price, which makes budgeting a negotiation.

Right call for a multi entity group

Not the right tool if your complexity is in the warehouse. Some UK specifics needed configuring rather than working out of the box. Looking at alternatives.

Finance can build dashboards without raising a ticket.

Strong finance platform, real project

Dimensions replaced a four segment nominal code structure we hated. Only real gripe is that some UK specifics needed configuring rather than working out of the box.
