Some of the AI features feel half finished. The Start tier is too limited, you end up on Standard almost immediately. Looking at alternatives.

VAT returns submit cleanly and the MTD side has never given us trouble. That said, the interface changed twice in a year and retraining staff is a cost and the Start tier is too limited, you end up on Standard almost immediately.

Having payroll included saved us a second subscription entirely. Moving from spreadsheets took a weekend and the import worked.

Receipt capture is metered and 30 a month goes quickly in a busy period, and the interface changed twice in a year and retraining staff is a cost. VAT returns submit cleanly and the MTD side has never given us trouble, which is about the only positive.
