Good value once you are on Standard

Invoice chasing runs itself and our debtor days dropped noticeably. CIS deductions calculate correctly, which the last package got wrong twice.

Pros

Invoice chasing runs itself and our debtor days dropped noticeably.

Cons

Some of the AI features feel half finished.

Works, with caveats on the entry tier

The interface changed twice in a year and retraining staff is a cost, and reporting is fine until you want something custom, then it is export to Excel. Moving from spreadsheets took a weekend and the import worked, which is about the only positive.

Pros

Moving from spreadsheets took a weekend and the import worked.

Cons

The interface changed twice in a year and retraining staff is a cost.

Works, with caveats on the entry tier

Moving from spreadsheets took a weekend and the import worked, and VAT returns submit cleanly and the MTD side has never given us trouble. The Start tier is too limited, you end up on Standard almost immediately, but we live with it.

Pros

Moving from spreadsheets took a weekend and the import worked.

Cons

The Start tier is too limited, you end up on Standard almost immediately.

Solid for VAT and CIS

Copilot flagged a duplicate supplier invoice before we paid it, and the cash flow forecast is genuinely useful for planning payment runs. Some of the AI features feel half finished, but we live with it.

Does what a small business needs

Invoice chasing runs itself and our debtor days dropped noticeably, and CIS deductions calculate correctly, which the last package got wrong twice. No complaints so far.

Pros

Invoice chasing runs itself and our debtor days dropped noticeably.

Cons

Adding employees to payroll pushes the monthly cost up faster than expected.

Payroll being included changed the maths

The cash flow forecast is genuinely useful for planning payment runs. Only real gripe is that adding employees to payroll pushes the monthly cost up faster than expected.

Does what a small business needs

Bank reconciliation is quick once the rules learn your suppliers. Only real gripe is that receipt capture is metered and 30 a month goes quickly in a busy period.

Reliable, if not exciting

Support answered the phone in under five minutes at year end. That said, the Start tier is too limited, you end up on Standard almost immediately and adding employees to payroll pushes the monthly cost up faster than expected.
