Fine for our size

Moving from spreadsheets took a weekend and the import worked. Only real gripe is that the interface changed twice in a year and retraining staff is a cost.

Pros

Moving from spreadsheets took a weekend and the import worked.

Cons

The interface changed twice in a year and retraining staff is a cost.

Solid for VAT and CIS

Having payroll included saved us a second subscription entirely. VAT returns submit cleanly and the MTD side has never given us trouble.

Pros

Having payroll included saved us a second subscription entirely.

Cons

Reporting is fine until you want something custom, then it is export to Excel.

Fine for our size

Some of the AI features feel half finished, and adding employees to payroll pushes the monthly cost up faster than expected. CIS deductions calculate correctly, which the last package got wrong twice, which is about the only positive.

Pros

CIS deductions calculate correctly, which the last package got wrong twice.

Cons

Some of the AI features feel half finished.

Fine for our size

The cash flow forecast is genuinely useful for planning payment runs, and invoice chasing runs itself and our debtor days dropped noticeably. No complaints so far.

Payroll being included changed the maths

The interface changed twice in a year and retraining staff is a cost. Some of the AI features feel half finished. Looking at alternatives.

Invoice chasing runs itself and our debtor days dropped noticeably.

Reliable, if not exciting

The cash flow forecast is genuinely useful for planning payment runs, and bank reconciliation is quick once the rules learn your suppliers. No complaints so far.

Pros

The cash flow forecast is genuinely useful for planning payment runs.

Cons

Receipt capture is metered and 30 a month goes quickly in a busy period.
