Payroll off our desk for good

They deal with HMRC so we never have to. Only real gripe is that the software itself is less slick than the modern cloud tools.

Pros

They deal with HMRC so we never have to.

Cons

The software itself is less slick than the modern cloud tools.

Takes the stress away

Handing payroll over entirely was the best decision we made, and the pay run just happens and we approve it. Changes go through the bureau rather than being instant, but we live with it.

Handing payroll over entirely was the best decision we made.

Changes go through the bureau rather than being instant.

Reliable managed service

They deal with HMRC so we never have to. That said, changes go through the bureau rather than being instant and you give up some direct control by outsourcing.

The advice line earns its keep

Mixed. The employment law advice has saved us more than the fee twice now, but you give up some direct control by outsourcing.
