Takes the stress away

Mixed. They deal with HMRC so we never have to, but a managed service costs more than running it yourself.

Pros

They deal with HMRC so we never have to.

Cons

A managed service costs more than running it yourself.

Payroll off our desk for good

They deal with HMRC so we never have to. Only real gripe is that you give up some direct control by outsourcing.

Worth it to not think about payroll

The employment law advice has saved us more than the fee twice now. That said, changes go through the bureau rather than being instant and the software itself is less slick than the modern cloud tools.

Reliable managed service

The pay run just happens and we approve it, and handing payroll over entirely was the best decision we made. No complaints so far.

The advice line earns its keep

The software itself is less slick than the modern cloud tools, and changes go through the bureau rather than being instant. Handing payroll over entirely was the best decision we made, which is about the only positive.

Handing payroll over entirely was the best decision we made.

Cons
