The advice line earns its keep

Decades of bureau experience shows in how little goes wrong, and handing payroll over entirely was the best decision we made. No complaints so far.

Pros

Decades of bureau experience shows in how little goes wrong.

Cons

A managed service costs more than running it yourself.

Good if you would rather outsource

Mixed. Handing payroll over entirely was the best decision we made, but changes go through the bureau rather than being instant.

Payroll off our desk for good

They deal with HMRC so we never have to. Only real gripe is that the software itself is less slick than the modern cloud tools.
