The advice line earns its keep

Decades of bureau experience shows in how little goes wrong, and handing payroll over entirely was the best decision we made. No complaints so far.

Reliable managed service

You give up some direct control by outsourcing, and the software itself is less slick than the modern cloud tools. They deal with HMRC so we never have to, which is about the only positive.

Worth it to not think about payroll

Changes go through the bureau rather than being instant, and a managed service costs more than running it yourself. Handing payroll over entirely was the best decision we made, which is about the only positive.

Pros

Handing payroll over entirely was the best decision we made.

Cons

Good if you would rather outsource

The pay run just happens and we approve it. Only real gripe is that the software itself is less slick than the modern cloud tools.
