Great for a Microsoft shop

Native UK VAT and MTD meant no partner development for compliance. Working from Outlook and Excel with a live link to the data is seamless.

Pros

Native UK VAT and MTD meant no partner development for compliance.

Cons

The wrong partner is the main way it goes badly.

Seamless with Microsoft 365

Native UK VAT and MTD meant no partner development for compliance, and for a Microsoft shop it feels like part of the estate. No complaints so far.

Pros

Native UK VAT and MTD meant no partner development for compliance.

Cons

Heavier than a small business that just needs accounting.

Native MTD was the decider

For a Microsoft shop it feels like part of the estate, and working from Outlook and Excel with a live link to the data is seamless. It is a full ERP, so implementation was a proper project, but we live with it.

Pros

For a Microsoft shop it feels like part of the estate.

Cons

It is a full ERP, so implementation was a proper project.

Power BI depth is a bonus

Mixed. Native UK VAT and MTD meant no partner development for compliance, but the interface carries some of its NAV heritage.
