Native MTD was the decider

Power BI on top gives our finance team real analytical depth, and finance and operations finally sit in one system. The interface carries some of its NAV heritage, but we live with it.

Pros

Power BI on top gives our finance team real analytical depth.

Cons

The interface carries some of its NAV heritage.

Native MTD was the decider

For a Microsoft shop it feels like part of the estate, and finance and operations finally sit in one system. No complaints so far.

Pros

For a Microsoft shop it feels like part of the estate.

Cons

The wrong partner is the main way it goes badly.

Power BI depth is a bonus

The wrong partner is the main way it goes badly, and it is a full ERP, so implementation was a proper project. Power BI on top gives our finance team real analytical depth, which is about the only positive.
