Native MTD was the decider

Working from Outlook and Excel with a live link to the data is seamless. Only real gripe is that heavier than a small business that just needs accounting.

Pros

Working from Outlook and Excel with a live link to the data is seamless.

Cons

Heavier than a small business that just needs accounting.

Great for a Microsoft shop

Native UK VAT and MTD meant no partner development for compliance, and working from Outlook and Excel with a live link to the data is seamless. It is a full ERP, so implementation was a proper project, but we live with it.

Pros

Native UK VAT and MTD meant no partner development for compliance.

Cons

It is a full ERP, so implementation was a proper project.
