Fast month end, every time

MTD VAT submissions have never once given us trouble, and our accountant knows it inside out so support is never a problem. No complaints so far.

Pros

MTD VAT submissions have never once given us trouble.

Cons

Inventory is basic, we run a separate app for real stock control.

Solid, with a weak entry tier

CIS calculations for subcontractors are handled properly. Payroll is included from the Grow plan so we dropped a second subscription.

Pros

CIS calculations for subcontractors are handled properly.

Cons

The Ignite tier is far too tight, twenty invoices a month is nothing.

Fast month end, every time

CIS calculations for subcontractors are handled properly, and bank reconciliation is the fastest I have used, a month clears in minutes. No complaints so far.

Pros

CIS calculations for subcontractors are handled properly.

Cons

Reporting is clean but less customisable than I expected.

The nicest accounting software to use

Unlimited users means the whole team can be in the books without a fee, and the interface is genuinely pleasant, which sounds minor until you use it daily. The introductory discount ends and the standard price is a jump, but we live with it.

Pros

Unlimited users means the whole team can be in the books without a fee.

Cons

The introductory discount ends and the standard price is a jump.

Unlimited users is a real saving

Unlimited users means the whole team can be in the books without a fee. Only real gripe is that inventory is basic, we run a separate app for real stock control.

The nicest accounting software to use

Pros

Unlimited users means the whole team can be in the books without a fee.

Cons

Most businesses need to start on Grow, not the headline entry plan.

Fast month end, every time

Unlimited users means the whole team can be in the books without a fee, and the interface is genuinely pleasant, which sounds minor until you use it daily. The fixed asset register is functional rather than good, but we live with it.
