Start on Grow, not Ignite

Mixed. Unlimited users means the whole team can be in the books without a fee, but inventory is basic, we run a separate app for real stock control.

Start on Grow, not Ignite

MTD VAT submissions have never once given us trouble, and payroll is included from the Grow plan so we dropped a second subscription. Inventory is basic, we run a separate app for real stock control, but we live with it.

Solid, with a weak entry tier

Mixed. The app marketplace connected our stock system in an afternoon, but the Ignite tier is far too tight, twenty invoices a month is nothing.

Payroll included tipped it for us

Our accountant knows it inside out so support is never a problem, and payroll is included from the Grow plan so we dropped a second subscription. Reporting is clean but less customisable than I expected, but we live with it.

CIS calculations for subcontractors are handled properly. The interface is genuinely pleasant, which sounds minor until you use it daily.

Bank reconciliation is the fastest I have used, a month clears in minutes. That said, inventory is basic, we run a separate app for real stock control and the fixed asset register is functional rather than good.
