Fast month end, every time

Bank reconciliation is the fastest I have used, a month clears in minutes. The interface is genuinely pleasant, which sounds minor until you use it daily.

Pros

Cons

The Ignite tier is far too tight, twenty invoices a month is nothing.

The nicest accounting software to use

Bank reconciliation is the fastest I have used, a month clears in minutes. Only real gripe is that reporting is clean but less customisable than I expected.

Start on Grow, not Ignite

Payroll is included from the Grow plan so we dropped a second subscription, and our accountant knows it inside out so support is never a problem. The Ignite tier is far too tight, twenty invoices a month is nothing, but we live with it.

The app marketplace connected our stock system in an afternoon. Payroll is included from the Grow plan so we dropped a second subscription.

Reconciliation is unmatched

Unlimited users means the whole team can be in the books without a fee. That said, the fixed asset register is functional rather than good and the introductory discount ends and the standard price is a jump.

Unlimited users is a real saving

MTD VAT submissions have never once given us trouble, and our accountant knows it inside out so support is never a problem. Most businesses need to start on Grow, not the headline entry plan, but we live with it.

Great for connecting other systems

The fixed asset register is functional rather than good, and most businesses need to start on Grow, not the headline entry plan. Our accountant knows it inside out so support is never a problem, which is about the only positive.

Solid, with a weak entry tier

CIS calculations for subcontractors are handled properly. Payroll is included from the Grow plan so we dropped a second subscription.
