Sorted my quarterly updates

The mobile app occasionally logs me out mid entry. You outgrow it the moment you register for VAT. Looking at alternatives.

Works for a one person business

It does not try to be a full ledger, which is exactly why I can use it, and the tax estimate updates as you go so January is not a shock. No complaints so far.

Setup took an evening and I have never used accounting software before. Only real gripe is that the mobile app occasionally logs me out mid entry.

Sorted my quarterly updates

No payroll at all, which caught me out when I took someone on, and there is no balance sheet, so my accountant still does a year end job. My accountant can see the figures without me emailing spreadsheets, which is about the only positive.

Does the MTD job without the ceremony

HMRC submission went through first time with no error messages. Quarterly updates take about ten minutes once the bank feed is set up.
