Strong finance platform, real project

Dimensions replaced a four segment nominal code structure we hated. That said, getting the dimension structure wrong at the start is expensive to undo and some UK specifics needed configuring rather than working out of the box.

Pros

Dimensions replaced a four segment nominal code structure we hated.

Cons

Getting the dimension structure wrong at the start is expensive to undo.

Dimensions were the whole reason we moved

Project accounting gives us revenue recognition we can actually audit. Only real gripe is that you need a good partner and they are not all good.

Right call for a multi entity group

Implementation cost more than the first year licence, and there is no published price, which makes budgeting a negotiation. The close has come down from twelve days to five, which is about the only positive.

Pros

The close has come down from twelve days to five.

Cons

Implementation cost more than the first year licence.
