Dimensions were the whole reason we moved

Mixed. Dimensions replaced a four segment nominal code structure we hated, but not the right tool if your complexity is in the warehouse.

Not cheap, but it solved the reporting

The close has come down from twelve days to five, and intercompany transactions post correctly without manual journals. No complaints so far.

Project accounting gives us revenue recognition we can actually audit. That said, getting the dimension structure wrong at the start is expensive to undo and you need a good partner and they are not all good.
