Right call for a multi entity group

Project accounting gives us revenue recognition we can actually audit, and the close has come down from twelve days to five. No complaints so far.

Pros

Project accounting gives us revenue recognition we can actually audit.

Cons

There is no published price, which makes budgeting a negotiation.

Strong finance platform, real project

Multi entity consolidation runs in minutes instead of three days. Dimensions replaced a four segment nominal code structure we hated.

Pros

Multi entity consolidation runs in minutes instead of three days.

Cons

Implementation cost more than the first year licence.

Dimensions were the whole reason we moved

The close has come down from twelve days to five. Only real gripe is that implementation cost more than the first year licence.

Strong finance platform, real project

Not the right tool if your complexity is in the warehouse, and some UK specifics needed configuring rather than working out of the box. Intercompany transactions post correctly without manual journals, which is about the only positive.

Intercompany transactions post correctly without manual journals.

Cons

Not the right tool if your complexity is in the warehouse.
