Project profitability sold it to us

The mobile app lets me raise an invoice from a client site, and the bank feed categorises so well that Monday mornings are no longer a chore. The pricing tiers shift often and it is hard to budget a year ahead, but we live with it.

Pros

The mobile app lets me raise an invoice from a client site.

Cons

The pricing tiers shift often and it is hard to budget a year ahead.

Good software, aggressive pricing

Moving from Sage took an afternoon and the import brought everything across, and support was on the phone in minutes rather than a ticket queue. No complaints so far.

Pros

Moving from Sage took an afternoon and the import brought everything across.

Cons

You notice the American roots in some of the wording.

Reliable, if you read the small print

The pricing tiers shift often and it is hard to budget a year ahead. Payroll is a separate add on, so the real monthly cost is higher than it looks. Looking at alternatives.

Pros

The mobile app lets me raise an invoice from a client site.

Cons

The pricing tiers shift often and it is hard to budget a year ahead.

Strong for VAT and CIS

The bank feed categorises so well that Monday mornings are no longer a chore. Only real gripe is that the 90 percent off deal hides a renewal that stung the following year.

Better automation than the last one

You notice the American roots in some of the wording, and receipt limits meant we upgraded a tier sooner than planned. Moving from Sage took an afternoon and the import brought everything across, which is about the only positive.

Does everything a small firm needs

The app marketplace meant our booking system connected without a developer. That said, custom reporting only really opens up on Advanced, which is a big jump and the pricing tiers shift often and it is hard to budget a year ahead.

Does everything a small firm needs

Moving from Sage took an afternoon and the import brought everything across, and CIS is handled from the entry tier, which the last package charged extra for. You notice the American roots in some of the wording, but we live with it.

Bank feed is the reason we switched

Mixed. Support was on the phone in minutes rather than a ticket queue, but custom reporting only really opens up on Advanced, which is a big jump.

Watch the renewal price

Support was on the phone in minutes rather than a ticket queue, and VAT returns submit to HMRC without a single error in two years. No complaints so far.

Pros

Support was on the phone in minutes rather than a ticket queue.

Cons

The pricing tiers shift often and it is hard to budget a year ahead.
