Broad, if not the deepest

The employee app gets used, which is half the battle. That said, a dedicated payroll tool handles our odd cases better and the Australian roots show in a few workflows.

Pros

The employee app gets used, which is half the battle.

Cons

A dedicated payroll tool handles our odd cases better.

Good all rounder for a growing team

Having HR, payroll and benefits in one place ended three subscriptions. Only real gripe is that a dedicated payroll tool handles our odd cases better.

Consolidation was the win

The free payroll tier genuinely cost us nothing to start. Onboarding a new starter is smooth from offer to first payslip.

Pros

The free payroll tier genuinely cost us nothing to start.

Cons

All in one means good at lots rather than best at any one thing.
