The app gets used

The employee app gets used, which is half the battle, and onboarding a new starter is smooth from offer to first payslip. The Australian roots show in a few workflows, but we live with it.

Pros

The employee app gets used, which is half the battle.

Cons

The Australian roots show in a few workflows.

Good all rounder for a growing team

The benefits marketplace gave staff something they actually noticed, and onboarding a new starter is smooth from offer to first payslip. The per employee minimums add up faster than the headline suggests, but we live with it.

Broad, if not the deepest

A dedicated payroll tool handles our odd cases better, and all in one means good at lots rather than best at any one thing. Having HR, payroll and benefits in one place ended three subscriptions, which is about the only positive.

Pros

Having HR, payroll and benefits in one place ended three subscriptions.

Cons

A dedicated payroll tool handles our odd cases better.
