Free payroll got us started

Onboarding a new starter is smooth from offer to first payslip, and the free payroll tier genuinely cost us nothing to start. No complaints so far.

Pros

Onboarding a new starter is smooth from offer to first payslip.

Cons

The Australian roots show in a few workflows.

Good all rounder for a growing team

Having HR, payroll and benefits in one place ended three subscriptions. That said, all in one means good at lots rather than best at any one thing and the per employee minimums add up faster than the headline suggests.

The app gets used

Having HR, payroll and benefits in one place ended three subscriptions, and the employee app gets used, which is half the battle. No complaints so far.

A dedicated payroll tool handles our odd cases better.

The app gets used

The Australian roots show in a few workflows, and a dedicated payroll tool handles our odd cases better. The employee app gets used, which is half the battle, which is about the only positive.

One platform replaced three

The Australian roots show in a few workflows, and the per employee minimums add up faster than the headline suggests. The benefits marketplace gave staff something they actually noticed, which is about the only positive.
