Right tool for regulated manufacturing

Not something you buy without a full selection process, and the implementation ran to fourteen months. Batch traceability is a regulatory requirement for us and it handles it, which is about the only positive.

Pros

Batch traceability is a regulatory requirement for us and it handles it.

Cons

Not something you buy without a full selection process.

Handles our volume properly

Multi legislation in one instance across three countries, and quality control is built in rather than bolted on. No complaints so far.

Pros

Multi legislation in one instance across three countries.

Cons

The UK partner pool is small so your options are limited.

Serious ERP, serious project

Total cost is far beyond the licence, and the UK partner pool is small so your options are limited. Capacity planning across two sites finally works, which is about the only positive.

Pros

Capacity planning across two sites finally works.

Cons

Total cost is far beyond the licence.

Quality control is built in rather than bolted on. Only real gripe is that total cost is far beyond the licence.

Multi country in one instance

Capacity planning across two sites finally works. It copes with our order volume where the last system slowed to a crawl.

The UK partner pool is small so your options are limited, and the interface is dense and new staff need structured training. Capacity planning across two sites finally works, which is about the only positive.
