Does the MTD job without the ceremony

HMRC submission went through first time with no error messages, and the tax estimate updates as you go so January is not a shock. No complaints so far.

Good starting point, you will move on

HMRC submission went through first time with no error messages, and quarterly updates take about ten minutes once the bank feed is set up. No complaints so far.

Sorted my quarterly updates

My accountant can see the figures without me emailing spreadsheets. Only real gripe is that there is no balance sheet, so my accountant still does a year end job.

It does not try to be a full ledger, which is exactly why I can use it. That said, the mobile app occasionally logs me out mid entry and there is no balance sheet, so my accountant still does a year end job.

Setup took an evening and I have never used accounting software before. That said, reporting is thin if you want anything beyond income and expenses and you outgrow it the moment you register for VAT.
