Works for a one person business

Importing two years of history from a spreadsheet was fiddly, and the mobile app occasionally logs me out mid entry. The free tier covered everything I needed until I registered for VAT, which is about the only positive.

Simple enough for a first timer

HMRC submission went through first time with no error messages, and the tax estimate updates as you go so January is not a shock. No complaints so far.

Sorted my quarterly updates

It does not try to be a full ledger, which is exactly why I can use it, and quarterly updates take about ten minutes once the bank feed is set up. There is no balance sheet, so my accountant still does a year end job, but we live with it.

Fine for a simple trade

My accountant can see the figures without me emailing spreadsheets. That said, importing two years of history from a spreadsheet was fiddly and reporting is thin if you want anything beyond income and expenses.
