The band pricing has sharp edges

The reporting is detailed enough that our auditors stopped asking questions, and we run 240 people on the unlimited band and it does not blink. No complaints so far.

Pros

The reporting is detailed enough that our auditors stopped asking questions.

Cons

It expects you to know payroll, it will not hold your hand.

Depth you cannot get from cloud tools

Rolling back a pay run and correcting a prior period actually works, and attachment of earnings orders are supported without a workaround. P11D is a separate product and a separate cost, but we live with it.

Pros

Rolling back a pay run and correcting a prior period actually works.

Cons

P11D is a separate product and a separate cost.

Corrections actually work properly

Statutory payments calculate correctly every April without fail. Attachment of earnings orders are supported without a workaround.

Pros

Statutory payments calculate correctly every April without fail.

Cons

The jump from the 25 band to the 50 band is close to double.

Reliable through every April change

Attachment of earnings orders are supported without a workaround. That said, the year end process is more manual than it needs to be and P11D is a separate product and a separate cost.

Pros

Attachment of earnings orders are supported without a workaround.

Cons

The year end process is more manual than it needs to be.
