Reliable through every April change

Auto enrolment assessment and postponement are handled properly, and attachment of earnings orders are supported without a workaround. No complaints so far.

Pros

Auto enrolment assessment and postponement are handled properly.

Cons

The year end process is more manual than it needs to be.

Reliable through every April change

Mixed. We run 240 people on the unlimited band and it does not blink, but it expects you to know payroll, it will not hold your hand.

Built for someone who knows payroll

Attachment of earnings orders are supported without a workaround, and rolling back a pay run and correcting a prior period actually works. No complaints so far.

Pros

Attachment of earnings orders are supported without a workaround.

Cons

The jump from the 25 band to the 50 band is close to double.

The band pricing has sharp edges

We run 240 people on the unlimited band and it does not blink. Statutory payments calculate correctly every April without fail.

Pros

We run 240 people on the unlimited band and it does not blink.

Cons

Still desktop at heart and remote working is clunky.

Depth you cannot get from cloud tools

Still desktop at heart and remote working is clunky, and it expects you to know payroll, it will not hold your hand. Auto enrolment assessment and postponement are handled properly, which is about the only positive.

Pros

Auto enrolment assessment and postponement are handled properly.

Cons

Still desktop at heart and remote working is clunky.

Corrections actually work properly

Auto enrolment assessment and postponement are handled properly. That said, P11D is a separate product and a separate cost and still desktop at heart and remote working is clunky.

Pros

Auto enrolment assessment and postponement are handled properly.
