The band pricing has sharp edges

Auto enrolment assessment and postponement are handled properly. Only real gripe is that still desktop at heart and remote working is clunky.

Pros

Corrections actually work properly

Attachment of earnings orders are supported without a workaround, and we run 240 people on the unlimited band and it does not blink. Still desktop at heart and remote working is clunky, but we live with it.

Pros

Attachment of earnings orders are supported without a workaround.

Cons

Still desktop at heart and remote working is clunky.

Corrections actually work properly

Rolling back a pay run and correcting a prior period actually works. Only real gripe is that P11D is a separate product and a separate cost.

Pros

P11D is a separate product and a separate cost.

Depth you cannot get from cloud tools

Mixed. Auto enrolment assessment and postponement are handled properly, but the jump from the 25 band to the 50 band is close to double.

The band pricing has sharp edges

Rolling back a pay run and correcting a prior period actually works. Statutory payments calculate correctly every April without fail.

Pros

Rolling back a pay run and correcting a prior period actually works.

Cons

The year end process is more manual than it needs to be.

Handles our 200 plus payroll

Still desktop at heart and remote working is clunky. It expects you to know payroll, it will not hold your hand. Looking at alternatives.

Pros

The reporting is detailed enough that our auditors stopped asking questions.

Cons

Still desktop at heart and remote working is clunky.
