Stock control keeps us here
It is desktop software with cloud bolted on and remote working shows it. CIS costs extra on top of an already high subscription. Looking at alternatives.
Pros
The fixed asset register saves the schedule we used to keep separately.
Cons
It is desktop software with cloud bolted on and remote working shows it.

Still the best for inventory
The fixed asset register saves the schedule we used to keep separately, and our accountant has used it for twenty years so support is easy. Extra users cost more and it adds up fast, but we live with it.

Cons
Extra users cost more and it adds up fast.

Stock control is the reason we stay, nothing cloud based matches it. Only real gripe is that extra users cost more and it adds up fast.

Worth it for project costing
The fixed asset register saves the schedule we used to keep separately. Multi company reporting means I am not consolidating in a spreadsheet.

Still the best for inventory
The price is hard to justify unless you actually use the depth, and backups are your problem in a way they are not with cloud products. The document capture pre fills purchase invoices and saves hours a week, which is about the only positive.
