Still the best for inventory

Stock control is the reason we stay, nothing cloud based matches it. Only real gripe is that the interface is dated compared with anything browser based.

Worth it for project costing

The document capture pre fills purchase invoices and saves hours a week, and stock control is the reason we stay, nothing cloud based matches it. No complaints so far.

Pros

The document capture pre fills purchase invoices and saves hours a week.

Cons

It is desktop software with cloud bolted on and remote working shows it.

Powerful but you pay for it

Project costing gives us real margin per job rather than a guess, and our accountant has used it for twenty years so support is easy. The price is hard to justify unless you actually use the depth, but we live with it.

Pros

Project costing gives us real margin per job rather than a guess.

Cons

The price is hard to justify unless you actually use the depth.

Stock control is the reason we stay, nothing cloud based matches it, and multi company reporting means I am not consolidating in a spreadsheet. No complaints so far.

Does the job, feels its age

Project costing gives us real margin per job rather than a guess. Only real gripe is that backups are your problem in a way they are not with cloud products.

Still the best for inventory

Backups are your problem in a way they are not with cloud products. Extra users cost more and it adds up fast. Looking at alternatives.

Pros

The fixed asset register saves the schedule we used to keep separately.

Cons

Backups are your problem in a way they are not with cloud products.
