Mileage tracking alone is worth it

It detects trips and I just swipe to say business or personal. Only real gripe is that you outgrow it the second you register for VAT or incorporate.

Pros

It detects trips and I just swipe to say business or personal.

Cons

You outgrow it the second you register for VAT or incorporate.

Does the MTD job on my phone

Everything is on the phone, which suits how I actually work, and quarterly updates went to HMRC with no fuss at all. No complaints so far.

Pros

Everything is on the phone, which suits how I actually work.

Cons

The AI features are labelled beta and feel like it.

Sorted my Self Assessment

No free tier, so Sage looks cheaper if you barely drive for work. There is no balance sheet, my accountant still does the year end. Looking at alternatives.

Pros

Everything is on the phone, which suits how I actually work.

Cons

No free tier, so Sage looks cheaper if you barely drive for work.

Good for the self employed

Receipts scan straight in and the categories are usually right, and it detects trips and I just swipe to say business or personal. Reporting is thin beyond income and expenses, but we live with it.

Pros

Receipts scan straight in and the categories are usually right.

Cons

Reporting is thin beyond income and expenses.
