Powerful but you pay for it

Multi company reporting means I am not consolidating in a spreadsheet, and stock control is the reason we stay, nothing cloud based matches it. Backups are your problem in a way they are not with cloud products, but we live with it.

Pros

Multi company reporting means I am not consolidating in a spreadsheet.

Cons

Backups are your problem in a way they are not with cloud products.

Overkill unless you need the modules

The fixed asset register saves the schedule we used to keep separately, and project costing gives us real margin per job rather than a guess. It is desktop software with cloud bolted on and remote working shows it, but we live with it.

Pros

The fixed asset register saves the schedule we used to keep separately.

Cons

It is desktop software with cloud bolted on and remote working shows it.

Still the best for inventory

Foreign currency handling is properly built in on Professional, and stock control is the reason we stay, nothing cloud based matches it. No complaints so far.

Pros

Foreign currency handling is properly built in on Professional.

Cons

CIS costs extra on top of an already high subscription.

Stock control keeps us here

Multi company reporting means I am not consolidating in a spreadsheet. Only real gripe is that extra users cost more and it adds up fast.

Our accountant has used it for twenty years so support is easy, and the document capture pre fills purchase invoices and saves hours a week. No complaints so far.

Does the job, feels its age

The fixed asset register saves the schedule we used to keep separately. That said, extra users cost more and it adds up fast and backups are your problem in a way they are not with cloud products.

Worth it for project costing

Backups are your problem in a way they are not with cloud products, and the interface is dated compared with anything browser based. The fixed asset register saves the schedule we used to keep separately, which is about the only positive.

Pros

The fixed asset register saves the schedule we used to keep separately.

Cons

Backups are your problem in a way they are not with cloud products.
