Still the best for inventory

Our accountant has used it for twenty years so support is easy, and stock control is the reason we stay, nothing cloud based matches it. No complaints so far.

CIS costs extra on top of an already high subscription.

Does the job, feels its age

Multi company reporting means I am not consolidating in a spreadsheet. Only real gripe is that backups are your problem in a way they are not with cloud products.

Overkill unless you need the modules

Project costing gives us real margin per job rather than a guess. The fixed asset register saves the schedule we used to keep separately.

Pros

Project costing gives us real margin per job rather than a guess.

Cons

Extra users cost more and it adds up fast.

Powerful but you pay for it

Stock control is the reason we stay, nothing cloud based matches it. Only real gripe is that the price is hard to justify unless you actually use the depth.
