Perfect for a one person company

It does not scale, there is no real stock control, and reporting depth is limited beyond the essentials. The Self Assessment figures for a director come out ready to file, which is about the only positive.

Pros

The Self Assessment figures for a director come out ready to file.

Cons

It does not scale, there is no real stock control.

Free with our bank, brilliant

It is free because we bank with NatWest, which is hard to argue with. That said, a growing team will outgrow it and the move is a job and reporting depth is limited beyond the essentials.

Pros

It is free because we bank with NatWest, which is hard to argue with.

Cons

A growing team will outgrow it and the move is a job.

Made for contractors

Mixed. Dividend documentation is handled without a separate template, but it does not scale, there is no real stock control.

Ideal until you grow

Built for a one person limited company in a way the big names are not. That said, reporting depth is limited beyond the essentials and the app ecosystem is much smaller than Xero.

Pros

Built for a one person limited company in a way the big names are not.

Cons

Reporting depth is limited beyond the essentials.

The tax timeline shows what is owed and when, so nothing surprises me. Only real gripe is that a growing team will outgrow it and the move is a job.

The tax timeline is the killer feature

Mixed. The tax timeline shows what is owed and when, so nothing surprises me, but the free tier is tied to keeping the bank account.

The tax timeline shows what is owed and when, so nothing surprises me.

The free tier is tied to keeping the bank account.
