Worth it for project costing

The document capture pre fills purchase invoices and saves hours a week, and stock control is the reason we stay, nothing cloud based matches it. CIS costs extra on top of an already high subscription, but we live with it.

Pros

The document capture pre fills purchase invoices and saves hours a week.

Cons

CIS costs extra on top of an already high subscription.

Expensive, and we still renew

Mixed. The fixed asset register saves the schedule we used to keep separately, but CIS costs extra on top of an already high subscription.

Pros

The fixed asset register saves the schedule we used to keep separately.

Cons

CIS costs extra on top of an already high subscription.

Powerful but you pay for it

Foreign currency handling is properly built in on Professional. Only real gripe is that extra users cost more and it adds up fast.

Pros

Foreign currency handling is properly built in on Professional.

Extra users cost more and it adds up fast.

Worth it for project costing

Our accountant has used it for twenty years so support is easy, and the document capture pre fills purchase invoices and saves hours a week. Backups are your problem in a way they are not with cloud products, but we live with it.

Does the job, feels its age

Stock control is the reason we stay, nothing cloud based matches it. Only real gripe is that upgrades occasionally break a custom report.

Expensive, and we still renew

The document capture pre fills purchase invoices and saves hours a week, and project costing gives us real margin per job rather than a guess. No complaints so far.

Still the best for inventory

Foreign currency handling is properly built in on Professional, and multi company reporting means I am not consolidating in a spreadsheet. No complaints so far.

Pros

Foreign currency handling is properly built in on Professional.

Cons

It is desktop software with cloud bolted on and remote working shows it.

Stock control keeps us here

The price is hard to justify unless you actually use the depth, and the interface is dated compared with anything browser based. The document capture pre fills purchase invoices and saves hours a week, which is about the only positive.

Pros

The document capture pre fills purchase invoices and saves hours a week.

Cons

The price is hard to justify unless you actually use the depth.

Overkill unless you need the modules

The fixed asset register saves the schedule we used to keep separately. That said, CIS costs extra on top of an already high subscription and the price is hard to justify unless you actually use the depth.

Pros

The fixed asset register saves the schedule we used to keep separately.

Cons

CIS costs extra on top of an already high subscription.
