Dated but capable

MTD VAT returns submit without any drama, and over four hundred integrations meant our shop connected fine. It is functional rather than pleasant to look at, but we live with it.

Pros

MTD VAT returns submit without any drama.

It is functional rather than pleasant to look at.

Sixty pounds a year, not a month

The developers answer on the forum themselves, which is unheard of, and unlimited users on every plan, which even the paid rivals rarely offer. The interface shows its age against Xero, but we live with it.

Sixty pounds a year, not a month

Unlimited users on every plan, which even the paid rivals rarely offer, and sixty pounds a year at the paid tier, not per month, is remarkable. The Power User features sit behind a separate subscription, but we live with it.

Unbeatable for a micro business

No payroll, so we post a journal from elsewhere, and the Power User features sit behind a separate subscription. Over four hundred integrations meant our shop connected fine, which is about the only positive.

Pros

Over four hundred integrations meant our shop connected fine.

Cons

No payroll, so we post a journal from elsewhere.

Sixty pounds a year, not a month

It is genuinely free below a thousand entries and we have never paid. That said, it is functional rather than pleasant to look at and no payroll, so we post a journal from elsewhere.

Pros

It is genuinely free below a thousand entries and we have never paid.

Cons

It is functional rather than pleasant to look at.

Unbeatable for a micro business

It is functional rather than pleasant to look at, and bank feeds are a paid extra, though only fifteen pounds a year. It is genuinely free below a thousand entries and we have never paid, which is about the only positive.

Pros

It is genuinely free below a thousand entries and we have never paid.

Cons

It is functional rather than pleasant to look at.

Actually free, and it works

The Power User features sit behind a separate subscription. The interface shows its age against Xero. Looking at alternatives.

Great value for a landlord

Unlimited users on every plan, which even the paid rivals rarely offer. Only real gripe is that the interface shows its age against Xero.
