Mileage tracking alone is worth it

Receipts scan straight in and the categories are usually right, and everything is on the phone, which suits how I actually work. You outgrow it the second you register for VAT or incorporate, but we live with it.

Pros

Receipts scan straight in and the categories are usually right.

Cons

You outgrow it the second you register for VAT or incorporate.

Good for the self employed

It detects trips and I just swipe to say business or personal, and receipts scan straight in and the categories are usually right. No complaints so far.

Pros

It detects trips and I just swipe to say business or personal.

Cons

There is no balance sheet, my accountant still does the year end.

Sorted my Self Assessment

Quarterly updates went to HMRC with no fuss at all. That said, you outgrow it the second you register for VAT or incorporate and no free tier, so Sage looks cheaper if you barely drive for work.

Pros

Quarterly updates went to HMRC with no fuss at all.

Cons

You outgrow it the second you register for VAT or incorporate.
