Perfect for a one person company

The tax timeline shows what is owed and when, so nothing surprises me. That said, a growing team will outgrow it and the move is a job and reporting depth is limited beyond the essentials.

Pros

The tax timeline shows what is owed and when, so nothing surprises me.

Cons

A growing team will outgrow it and the move is a job.

Ideal until you grow

Built for a one person limited company in a way the big names are not, and Corporation Tax tracks as I go rather than as a year end shock. The free tier is tied to keeping the bank account, but we live with it.

Made for contractors

It is free because we bank with NatWest, which is hard to argue with. That said, it does not scale, there is no real stock control and a growing team will outgrow it and the move is a job.

Pros

Cons

It does not scale, there is no real stock control.

Made for contractors

The free tier is tied to keeping the bank account, and the app ecosystem is much smaller than Xero. The Self Assessment figures for a director come out ready to file, which is about the only positive.

Pros

The Self Assessment figures for a director come out ready to file.

Cons

The free tier is tied to keeping the bank account.
